After revealing the turbo clockspeeds of the upcoming FX-9000 series earlier this week, AMD now also discloses the base clock and the TDP of these chips.

The FX-9590 will have a base clock of 4.7GHz and a 5.0GHz Turbo, while the FX-9370 has a 4.4GHz base clock and 4.7GHz Turbo. These parts are expected to pack quite a punch, but the downside is that both parts have a TDP of around 220W, which feels a bit like a Netburst redux.

AMD also confirmed that the FX-9000 series is primarily intended for system integrators, and may not be sold separately.
