AMD has cut the pricing of a number of its A-series APUs from the Kaveri, Richland and Trinity families. The new pricing gives AMD's high-end A10 APUs a better chance of competing against Intel's dual-core Core i3 "Haswell" processors.

Here's the new suggested retail pricing:
  • A10-7850K: from $179.99 to $143
  • A10-7800: from $164.99 to $133
  • A10-7700K: from $159.99 to $123
  • A8-7600: from $109.99 to $92
  • A6-7400K: from $84.99 to $58
  • Additionally, AMD also offers anyone who purchases an A10 APU before the end of the month a pick between one of three games: Murdered: Soul Suspect, Thief, or Sniper Elite 3.
