NVIDIA HairWorks 1.1 with 500k hairs (video)

Tarkan Sarim shows off the capabilities of NVIDIA HairWorks 1.1 with a video that illustrates a long-haired model with 500,000 hairs. This demo was recorded in real-time using a GeForce GTX 980 video card but it reportedly also runs great on systems with low-end integrated graphics.

Long Hair simulated and rendered in real-time using NVIDIA HairWorks 1.1. The High Quality version is using roughly 500k hair.
