A leaked Chinese slide reveals details about the naming and pricing of AMD's upcoming Zen-based "Summit Ridge" processors. The slide was part of a presentation and reveals AMD plans to release Zen SR7, Zen SR5 and Zen SR3 processor series.

Sounds familiar isn't it? Looks like AMD will once again copy the Intel processor naming scheme to offer a lineup that looks similar to the Intel Core i7/i5/i3 lineups.

The high-end Zen SR7 processors are expected to hit the market in early 2017, with Zen SR5 to follow at a later point, and Zen SR3 even later. While no real specifics are given about the pricing, the slide suggests the Zen processors will cost over 1500 yuan, which is about $218 at the current exchange rates.
