Posted on Thursday, February 09 2006 @ 02:05:11 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Felipe provided me with some details on NVIDIA's new G71 that will be launched next month at CeBIT 2006.

The G71 will be branded as GeForce 7900 and there will be two models, the GeForce 7900 GTX and the GeForce 7900 GT.
    NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX:
  • 32 pipelines
  • 700MHz core (maybe 750MHz)
  • 512MB 1800MHz GDDR3 1.1ns memory
  • made on 90nm process

    NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT:
  • 24 pipelines
  • 650MHz core
  • 1400MHz 512MB memory
  • NVIDIA is also going to launch the GeForce 7600 and ATI is preparing a 80nm R590 card for launch in April.
