    Sapphire Radeon X800PRO Review

Posted on Saturday, October 23 2004 @ 16:28:01 CEST by LSDsmurf

As it often happens in the computer world, the prices go down, the PCs become faster and faster, games and applications become more and more demanding. We now have 2004 and FarCry, Doom3 as well as Half-Life 2 on the way. There are many computer games freaks, who buy the most efficient graphic accelerators nevermind the price. There are two main competitors on the market : Santa Clara’s nVidia and Canadian ATI Technology. nVidia’s FX series was not very succesfull and ATI could be very proud of their 9800PRO and XT models, that were highly graded by the customers. Not so long ago, a new chapter was opened in this competition : nVidia introduced GeForce 6 series cards and ATI X800 series. In this review I will focus on Sapphire X800PRO.
