ExtremeTech wrote a review of VIA's pico-ITX Artigo system.
To jumpstart Pico-ITX, VIA is now offering the Artigo small-form-factor kit. Included in the box is a tiny case the width of a 5.25-inch drive bay, a Pico-ITX mainboard with a 1GHz VIA C7, and all the parts needed to assemble a bare bones system. Not included is memory or a hard drive. The whole affair costs around $280; a complete system with hard drive and memory can be built for under $400.

An Artigo kit arrived on our doorstep a few weeks ago. We assembled it, installed Windows XP on the system, and checked it out.
Overall the reviewer was positive about the Artigo, rating it a eight out of ten. He says it's a very cool and tiny platform for dedicated applications or light duty office work.
