Dell unveiled the OptiPlex 160, a tiny nettop designed for businesses and educational purposes. This mini PC weighs 2.09kg and measures just 22.9cm x 4.7cm x 22.5cm (9.02" x 1.85" x 8.86") (H x W x D), while featuring an integrated power supply with an efficiency of up to 87 percent!

The hardware inside this nettop isn't really impressive, but Dell says the OptiPlex 160 was designed to maximize workspace and minimize energy consumption.

The base model is priced at $563 and features the single-core Intel Atom 230, Windows Vista Home SP1, 1GB DDR2 800MHz memory, 80GB 2.5" SATA HDD, integrated SIS Mirage 3 graphics and 3-year warranty. A version with the dual-core Atom processor will arrive in early 2009.

An external DVD drive is optional, but it will cost you a whopping $180 if you order it at Dell. A pretty steep price, and the drive can't even burn DVDs.
