ATI Radeon HD 5770 to be rebranded to Radeon HD 6770?

German tech site ATI Forum claims AMD decided to rebrand some of its upcoming graphics card, as well as relaunch the existing Juniper XT (Radeon HD 5770 series) as the Radeon HD 6770 series.

If the information is correct, we can expect to see some changes to the ATI naming scheme that we've grown accustomed to over the last couple of years. For instance, the upcoming dual-GPU Radeon HD 6970 has reportedly been rebranded to Radeon HD 6990, so the Radeon HD 6870 (Cayman XT) can take the Radeon HD 6970 name. Moreover, the new Radeon HD 6870 will the Radeon HD 6770 (Barts XT), which seems in-line with AMD's plans to beef up the performance of mid-range graphics cards to make them more attractive over APUs.
