HyperX adds two new mechanical gaming keyboards

Kingston's HyperX unit expanded its gaming peripheral lineup with two new Cherry MX based mechanical gaming keyboards with red LED backlights. This includes the full-size Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and the tenkeyless HyperX Alloy FPS Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. The latter is exclusively offered with Cherry MX Red switches while the former will be available in Cherry MX Blue, Red, and Brown variants.

Both keyboards start shipping on August 21 for $109.99 and $79.99, respectively.

HyperX Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Featuring an all-new design, the Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard includes HyperX red LED backlighting, an 18 LED light bar with luminous lighting along with custom lighting modes, and 6 preset LED effects. Alloy Elite is built with a solid steel frame for durability, offers dedicated media buttons, and a large volume wheel along with quick access buttons for brightness, lighting effects, and game mode. Alloy Elite also includes a USB 2.0 pass through, HyperX titanium colored, textured WASD keys, and full N-Key rollover functionality. No software is required – Alloy Elite is ready for plug-and-play gaming and includes a detachable palm rest for added comfort during gameplay.
