Caseking is selling these chips with warranty that they'll run at higher speeds than the 3.7GHz base clockspeed of the stock SKU from Intel. The company offers models with frequencies ranging from 4.8GHz to 5.2GHz.
There are three variants; Advanced, Pro and Ultra. All three versions were pretested and delidded. The standard TIM from Intel got replaced with Thermal Grizzly liquid metal to enhance overclocking performance and Caseking offers a 24-month warranty so there's no need to worry about anything.
The Pro Edition takes it one step further, this variant features a polished integrated heatspreader (IHS) to further enhance thermal conductivity. But if you really want to take it to the extreme, you can get the Ultra Edition. That version features a new integrated heatspreader made from 99.99% pure silver to take thermal conductivity to a new level. Caseking also adds new laser engravings.
These pre-binned OC chips do cost quite a lot of money though. While a tray-version of the regular 8700K retails for 399EUR, these custom versions cost between 439.90EUR and 869.90EUR.
