Dutch semiconductor equipment maker ASML revealed it shipped a total of 26 EUV machines in 2019. These tools will be used by Intel and are used by foundries like TSMC and Samsung to manufacture wafers using the latest, cutting-edge technology.
This is more than the 18 EUV lithography systems that were sold in 2018.
The company expects it will sell 35 EUV machines this year and believes it will be able to expand production to 45-50 machines in 2021.
