Intel Braidwood technology cancelled?

DigiTimes claims Intel's upcoming 5-series chipsets will not support Braidwood technology due to software issues. This technology is the successor of Turbo Memory, a technology to boost system performance with flash memory.
Without Braidwood support in the chipset family, there will not be P57 in the 5-series, as it will lack differentiation from P55, the sources noted. Other members of the 5-series chipsets - H57, Q57 and H55 - will remain on schedule for the first quarter of 2010, the sources said.

Due to issues with the software side of Braidwood, Intel has decided to take off the technology from the chipset series, the sources explained.
