Ultra-thin laptops with Core i5 coming later

FUD Zilla heard ultra-thin laptops with Intel Core i5 UM chips with a TDP of 18W will come a bit later, at least when it comes to the Taiwan-based brands.

Core i5 and some Core i7 Arrandale-based machines are slowly showing up on the market, but most of them are overpriced and they have a quite unattractive 35W TDP.

At the same time, Core i5 540M works at 2.53GHz and it can overclock all the way to 3.06GHz when the situation calls for it. If you are after Core i5, Arrandale-based ultra low voltage products, it looks like there will be at least few months before they start showing up.
