GeForce GTX 480 graphics card gets pictured

Dutch tech site Tweakers had the opportunity to take some photographs of a naked NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 graphics card at CeBIT. The site estimates the GPU has a size of about 500mm² and says there are 12 memory chips on the card, probably 128MB each, which means the card may have around 1.5GB memory. Power is provided by a 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe connector, and the card has support for three-way SLI. Unfortunately, there's no DisplayPort connector on this model, the outputs are limited to dual DVI-I and mini-HDMI.
The reference cooling solution for the GeForce GTX 480 is pictured below, but it's said to be quite expensive so some vendors may use cheaper alternatives. The launch of Fermi is expected to be quite small in size, the anonymous company that showed off this card said NVIDIA is expected to ship only 5,000 units at launch, and confirmed the story that second-tier graphics card makers will have to wait a bit longer for Fermi chips.

I'd leap if it had Displayport. Guess I'll have to wait another generation. Money saved I guess.
