Motorola Q to be launched in December

Motorola's CEO Ed Zander said his company will start shipping the Motorola Q in December.

This is earlier than expected is this device was previously slated for the first quarter of next year.

Here's a look at the features of this smartphone which will compete with RIM's BlackBerry and Palm's Treo:

Features:
- Windows Mobile 5.0
- 1.3 megapixel digital camera
- Only 0.45" thick
- Likely both CDMA and GSM versions
