By comparison, the Toshiba RS-TX series offers larger hard drive capacities and works straight out of the box with the stripped-down TiVo Basic service--the full-service upgrade is entirely optional. The DRT400 and DRT800 are great recorders--we'd just like to see Humax lower its initial price tag or offer TiVo Basic service as well.
