A lot of extreme overclockers break out their soldering irons and change a resistor or add a potentiometer to their motherboard so they can get that extra voltage to the RAM. Now, as a person who has done this twice, I'll just say it is not that easy for an amateur. If it doesn't work, you just ruined your motherboard, and if it did work you still can easily fry your system components.
