ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5070 Solid OC Graphics Card Review
Posted on 2025-03-05 21:30:29 by Thomas De Maesschalck"Here we are with another graphics card review and today we are going to be taking a look at NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5070. This is of course the fourth graphics card so far as part of NVIDIA's RTX 50 series and probably the one most people were excited about when NVIDIA first announced it. That excitement was of course because NVIDIA showed the graphic at their press conference that said the RTX 5070 would have RTX 4090 performance at just $549. Since then the excitement has died down because we of course know that is not true after reviewing both the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti. We also know that the $549 price point is not likely what you'll be paying for this card either, especially after launch. With that said the GeForce RTX 5070 is based on the GB205 silicon offering 6144 CUDA cores with 48 RT cores, 192 tensor cores, 192 TMUs, and 80 ROPs. NVIDIA has equipped the card with 12GB of GDDR7 memory that runs across a 192-bit memory interface. The card operates at a base clock speed of 2325 MHz, boosting up to 2512 MHz with the memory being 28 Gbps. Today we'll be specifically taking a look at the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5070 Solid OC, which as the name implies has a factory overclock, so the boost clock here will be 2542 MHz. On top of that you are going to get a triple-fan cooling solution, full-coverage metal backplate, and some RGB lighting. Is the RTX 5070 all hype or actually worth picking up? Read on as we find out!"
