Lexar Play 2280 SE Gen4 Solid State Drive Review

Quote: "If you want to add extra storage to your PlayStation 5 there are quite a lot of options to choose from. Lexar has recently introduced their Play 2280 SE Gen4 solid state drive. This is a follow up to their original Play 2280 at a more affordable price, without sacrificing performance. This drive makes use of the InnoGrit IG5236 controller teamed with Longsys 3D TLC NAND. This combination gives us rated speeds of 7000 MB/s read and 6000 MB/s write. Of course since this drive is made for the PlayStation 5 it also comes with a pre-installed heatsink to keep temperatures in check. Is this the drive you need for your PlayStation 5? Read on as we find out!"
