Though the latest iteration of the Apple eMac costs the same as last year's SuperDrive-equipped eMac ($999 direct), there are some notable improvements. Consider the eMac as a base station for your iPod, digital camera, and camcorder, and as an all-in-one computing solution. It's great for a student, beginning computer user, or the old hand that doesn't need or want to spend more than $1,000 on a PC.
