The Olympus Stylus 300 is now a pretty cheap 3.2 megapixel digital camera with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom with autofocus. Olympus says the Stylus 300 works in almost any weather condition. The camera has a weatherproof design and will resist everything from heavy rain to windy snowstorms. Also positive is the rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

Reviews say this camera is excellent for beginners, one of the only disadvantages are the expensive xD memory cards used by the Olympus Stylus 300. But luckily a 16MB XD memory card is included with the camera. A 256MB xD card is available for about $30.

The camera is praised for its sexy and beautiful look - the metal case looks really cool. Further it also has an attractive size (it isn't too big, fits perfectly in a shirt pocket), its great battery life, the easy intuitive interface and the image quality.
