Sony DCR-DVD7E camcorder Review

Pocket Lint checked out Sony's new camcorder, here's a short snippet from their review:

The circular designed unit is fairly small. Not small enough that you’ll have crowds of people in disbelievement, but enough to still be impressive. Think CD Walkman size only slightly fatter with a lens shoved on the front and you’ll get the picture. Actual dimensions are 12.7 cm x 4.9 cm x 10.1 cm and 360g in weight.

A total waste of money. Poor OpZoom, etc. Used it twice and sold it.
Bought and sold the SONY DCR DVD 403. Very poor 10X OpZoom. Cheaper DVD 3" disc Cams have 25-40X OpZ.
Absolute min req 25X. LH5964@webtv/net

Throw it out ! Extremely poor OpZ of 10 ! Enough said. Our SONY DCR TRV 820 has a 25 OpZ purchased 5 yrs ago.
    Not made anymore.

Still works great in heat (100°F Phoenix, -15°F Wolf Creek CO Ski Area and 30' underwater in our unique privately designed plastic waterproof capsule, Hamilton, Bermuda.)
