Danger Den RBX Water Block Review

Posted on 2004-03-05 20:26:56 by LSDsmurf

The RBX came shipped with a protective sheet of plastic attached to the copper base of the unit for protection during handling. The poly top allows you to see the machining of the copper base below. Under the center barb there are 6 channels machined into the copper block to direct the flow of water to each of the output barbs on the left and right hand sides. Also machined into the base of the block are 45 heat voids which help maximize the impingement of the water over the block. The poly top also allows you to see the O-ring used to keep the poly top sealed to the copper base. The poly top is secured using 6 socket head screws along with a black O-ring to form a tight seal.
