PC Mag checked out a 17-inch LCD screen from Eizo. Here's a short snip from John' review:

At $649, the Eizo FlexScan L578 is one of the more expensive 17-inch LCD monitors out there, but you get outstanding image quality for your money. Though imaging pros will appreciate the quality, we would have expected a few more premium features, such as portrait-mode rotation and better-sounding speakers.
