DFI LanParty NFII Ultra B Motherboard Review

Posted on Monday, March 08 2004 @ 17:45:43 CET by LSDsmurf

The DFI LanParty NFII Ultra B Motherboard supports the Socket A 462 AMD AthlonT/AthlonTXP/ AthlonTXP Barton/ DuronTProcessors which operate on 200/266/333 and 400 Front Side Bus frequencies. The placement of the socket is much further towards the rear which may pose some probable space issues when using a larger cooling solution and exhaust fan depending on the design of your case. A row of three capacitators are lined up near the bottom edge of the socket. The overall socket clearance towards the left and right is rather spacious. Users will be pleased to know that four mounting holes are present around the socket to accommodate premium cooling solutions. The 20-pin ATX power connector is placed to the right; an additional 4-pin +12V power connector is located slightly above the AGP slot.
