The bundle shipped as K8N-DL contains the mainboard itself, one ribbon IDE cable for each ATA/33 and UATA/66/100/133 and the floppy connector cable. In addition, the mandatory I/O shield is provided to shield the surroundings against any EMI generated inside the case. Needless to say that especially in a server class board, Serial ATA has become a must and, therefore, the K8N-DL comes with no less than eight SATA interface cables. As a concession to the legacy gaming community, ASUS further includes a game port that is combined with two extra USB 2.0 ports on the same bracket. The ATX I/O connector block already boasts one 1394a firewire port, a second port mounted on a bracket rounds up the hardware bundle..
