The 7800GT core is a 20 pixel pipeline version of the 7800GTX that’s clocked at 400MHz, while its 256MB of DDD3 memory clocked at 1000MHz (500MHz DDR) is backed with a 256bit memory interface. 7 Vertex engines give it tons of horsepower for those games which heavily rely on vertex shaders; this is one less than the GTX.
