Sony PSP 2.0 firmware Review
Posted on 2005-08-26 00:18:28 by LSDsmurfThe new version 2.00 software is the first major update the PSP has received since the PSP was launched earlier this year. Version 2.00 isn’t a simple security and compatibility fix but instead adds a host of useful new features. A long awaited web browser has finally been included to take advantage of home wireless networks and wireless Hot Spots. Video playback was also improved with the addition of support for h.264 (AVC) encoded videos. AAC and WAV audio files stored on Memory Stick Duo are now playable audio formats. Image support has been improved with the addition of TIFF, GIF, PNG, and BMP as viewable formats. Lastly, those that were getting bored of the lame Sony backgrounds can set their own wallpaper with the new wallpaper feature..
