It’s sweet to have competition amongst hardware companies and perhaps no rivalry is more paid attention to then that of ATI and NVIDIA. Both make excellent GPUs and now both, so it seems, make a wonderful mainboard chipset for AMD’s Socket939 Athlon CPUs. No doubt about it, NVIDIA’s nForce chipset has been the defacto performance juggernaut for awhile now for Athlon’s and offers some of the coolest features going. For the most part, it has gone unchallenged from the likes of VIA and SiS, but appears to have its hands full with ATI’s latest Radeon 200P chipset which is now available thru Sapphire’s new “Pure Innovation” PI-A9RX480 motherboard (yes, we agree, someone at Sapphire needs to shorten that name)..
