In such a hurry the company of Sony Ericsson turned the S600 into the second model of the Walkman series and gave it an index of W550. The differences are so minimal, though include grown memory size (up to 256 MB) and a preset orange panel (the second one is in a calmer colour). All the other characteristics are so similar that even code names coincide - the models are identical inside.
