Perhaps more than any other cell phone manufacturer, Nokia has been pushing the envelope in form factor with innovative designs, such as those of the Nokia N90 and the Nokia 7280. However, image and fashion don't count for much when they negatively impact the function of the phone, which is the case with the company's latest model, the Nokia 8800. Although this slider phone is sleek and sexy on the outside, it suffers from a cramped keypad that's difficult to navigate even for the smallest hands. In addition, a disappointingly uneven battery life had us frequently running for the nearest outlet after any lengthy conversation.
