The Scythe Ninja is designed for two different mode of operation. Firstly, as an enthusiast level solution when coupled with a 120mm fan. Secondly as a passive heatsink for silent operation. As you can see in the picture above, the heatsink is designed to dissipate heat via 6 U shaped copper heatpipes connected to the copper base of the heatsink. The Ninja is also compatible on both AMD Socket 754/939 as well as Intel Socket 478/775 mainboards. A very impressive looking piece of art IMHO, let's take a brief look at it's specifications.
