It has been 177 days since the initial release of AMD's Athlon 64 desktop series. The general consensus of the release has shocked and awed the public. These AMD chips definitely have over powered Intel in almost all benchmarks, similar to ATI's release of the incredibly venerable 9700 Pro versus Nvidia's Geforce. Today in AthlonXp's lab, we'll be pitting the FX53 to the FX51; obviously, the FX53 would crush the FX51, but by how much? This is what we will be investigating in this review as well as other things not found in some reviews.
