The HP Compaq Presario V2000Z packs a fast AMD Turion 64 processor, 14-inch widescreen, and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth into a portable 5.2-pound frame. It doesn’t offer the same QuickPlay feature for instant DVD and music playback as its cooler cousin, the HP Pavilion dv1000, but this thin-and-light notebook has everything you’ll need to stay productive on the go. Our only recommendation is that you upgrade to the bigger 12-cell battery before you pull the trigger on a purchase.
