As with previous generations of iPods, the music sounds clear and full. The 20GB iPod stores around 5,000 songs. It isn’t different from previous incarnations in size or operation, and remains at 5.9 ounces. The only noticeable improvements come from its increased battery life (15 hours versus 8 to 12) and an added Podcast menu to enable iTunes’ new Podcast service. Podcasts are downloadable Internet radio programs, and iTunes lists a wide range to suit any interest. Topics range from the latest gadgets and celebrity gossip to cooking.
