Once you remove the colorful exterior you are greeted with the typical brown box inside which houses the product. I was a little surprised at the fact that Microsoft did not "pack" the product at all. It's wrapped in some plastic and that's it. I've seen many MS keyboards in the past that at least had flaps or cutouts in the brown box to hold the keyboard in place..
