ASUS EN7800GT Review

ASUS decided to clock the core at the recommended 400MHz, the same as NVIDIA?s reference 7800GT card. As there are 20 pixel pipelines, this means there?s a maximum theoretical fillrate of 8 Gigatexels a second. The 7800GT has 16 pixels outputted in a clock, so the pixel fill rate of the 7800GT is 6.4 Gigapixels theoretical. ASUS outfitted the card with 8 2ns GDDR-3 memory chips, covered by the heatsink. This provides a maximum of 32GB/second memory bandwidth.
