For more than a decade, manufacturers of consumer electronics have been round the table talking about ways to bring television, audio and video systems together with other electronics such as personal computers, gaming consoles and the internet in an effort to allow consumers to experience a flawless flow of data, video and music anywhere. We have yet to see much development on this with portable devices because the industry has not been able to find common platform, party due to the slow adoption of high-speed Internet connections.
