Now that AMDZone's CES hangover is gone they have revamped our Athlon 64 FX60 review. They have added FX55 and FX57 numbers to all of the benchmarks as well as power consumption figures and additional overclocking information.

Our results from the Athlon 64 FX60 show that it is the top performer in our labs. Most surprising is how far along the graphics drivers have come from our first dual core tests back in May for gaming performance. The only question is how long will it take for samples to become available. We spoke with Newegg earlier tonight, and they may show up there tomorrow. The other question is when the new Intel 955 appears. So far we have no idea on that one. With that in mind the FX60 looks poised to take over as the fastest CPU for the next few months at least, and as multithreading applications spread it will only tighten its grip.
