These days it has become extremely difficult to build a powerful computer that doesn’t sound like a dust buster in overdrive. The problem is that the processor (CPU) is no longer the only component in the computer that generates large amounts of heat. Nowadays the graphics card, motherboard chipset and power phase put out just as much heat as the processor. Then there is the system memory (RAM) along with high-speed desktop hard drives that also generate quite a lot of heat. All these components generate more heat because they require more power due to their very complex designs. This means the power supply (PSU) is also under a lot more stress and is required to generate a lot more power, therefore it also adds to the heat levels.
