Having a serious hold on the gaming market due to SLI technology has been a key factor in VGA sales in the last year, and building an SLI system totally belongs to the NVIDIA camp in the current PC scene. Will this change? Not likely, as NVIDIA is not going to share their Lions den of market share with anyone if they can help it. ATI has finally launched their CrossFire platform to the general public and Intel claims to support it on their new 975 chipset, but is it to late to really grab the attention of gamers? I guess will have to wait and see as the jury is still out on that one. XFX currently uses the XXX name-branding scheme that will soon become a name recognized for their High-End VGA solutions..
