Tilting the water block on its edge we see the base is copper, and that it includes a protective sticker that of course needs to be removed before installation. Using the supplied mounting brackets you attach to the bottom of the water block. First however you must remove the existing CPU mounting bracket, and in the case of the Athlon 64 and the DFI nF4 SLI Lan Party board we used for our testing that meant also removing the back heatsink mount from underneath the board. If Coolermaster had allowed for installation using the existing heatsink mounting mechanism it would certainly literally be an installation that would have taken only minutes.
