Although this model is based on technology that is over a year old, there isn’t much on the market today that can compete with the Diamondback Plasma LE specifications. This is a 1600 DPI (dots per inch) optical mouse with on-the-fly-sensitivity adjustment that can switch the DPI to as low as 400 DPI for those precision aiming moments. The Diamondback Plasma LE utilizes a 16-bit data path achieving 5.8 megapixels per second. As an added bonus, the mouse is always on and ready for immediate carnage unlike other competitors that shut down between uses..
