Need for Speed: Most Wanted Review

Posted on Saturday, February 04 2006 @ 20:24:01 CET by LSDsmurf

Need for Speed Most Wanted combines two of the more significant themes from past Need for Speed games - the focus on illegal street racing featured in the recent Underground titles, and the police pursuit/evasion mechanics of the old school Hot Pursuit games. These two themes are a logical partnership, and Most Wanted succeeds at mixing them together well. It may suffer a bit from an unnecessarily difficult endgame, but overall it is a top-notch racer that matches and perhaps even surpasses the mostly excellent first Underground title in terms of sheer enjoyment.
