Asus EAXX1800XT Top Review

Posted on Sunday, February 19 2006 @ 16:42:40 CET by LSDsmurf

While its size is rather large, the card sill only takes up two slots – just like the ATI-designed cards. One can tell just by looking at the heatsink that this isn’t a plain-vanilla card by any stretch. The over-sized cooling fan speaks of how ASUS wanted to keep its card cooled and even though it keeps the air from going outside the PC it still did a good job of keeping GPU temperatures at bay; even while overclocking. Bundle-wise ASUS tosses in the kitchen-sink – almost literally. First off, you have the full version of the game, King-Kong (and a couple other games); maybe not the greatest game ever, but it sure shows-off the hardware well..
