Since the first picture broadcast in 1926 from one room to another, The Television has become the most known domestic device in the world. In the seventy some years of its existence it has seen many improvements. Besides the toaster and sliced bread, another constant growing phenomenon to become part of our everyday home life is the computer. It too has had much advancement in its short life among us, enabling us to view our favorite movies, create instant photos, and among other things listen to the beat of our music collections while we budget the family funds. To have these two cross paths in a user friendly form of a remote control, whether it is from another room or right beside each other would only make sense. The iCubePlay@TV network media adapter, which will be available on Dec.15th, seems to have all the right stuff to combine the two gracefully. Today I’ll take the TV remote in one hand and the iCubePlay@TV remote in the other to test its capabilities.
