Corsair 3500LL Pro 2GB TwinX Memory Review

While these two lineages may have started life in the humble era when a half gigabyte of memory was enough, today's heavyweight titles such as Battlefield II, F.E.A.R and Quake 4 benefit (in some cases) more from a boost in system memory than a video card upgrade. On that note, Corsair has tapped into the thriving 2GB kit market. Although we are in the days of DDR's last hurrah, before it is plunged into obsolescence by socket AM2's DDR2 only interface, it'll still be worth giving these modules a run around the block, seeing just how far above their rated speeds and timings they can go, and not to mention showing off why this could be the last upgrade you may need to make to that choking old system to tide it over for a few more years..
