Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 DDR2 2GB Kit Review

Posted on Monday, March 06 2006 @ 16:13:29 CET by LSDsmurf

OcPrices.com has now completed our review of one of the fastest 2GB DDR2 kits on the market: Crucial's Ballistix 2GB kit. Capable of both amazing speed and tight timings we found this product to be a real winner.

"Crucial Technology have recently had some very successful products in their Ballistix line of memory modules - the Ballistix PC-4000 2GB Dual Channel kit for instance offers a great combination of low latency capability and extremely high top end speed - however we haven't yet looked at any of the DDR2 offerings from this giant among memory manufacturers. With Intel's newest dual core Pentium D chips (Presler) offering fair performance at stock speeds, and incredible overclockability, we thought it was just the right time to take a look at some high speed Crucial Ballistix DDR2 modules"
