The Sennheiser HD 650 full-size audiophile-grade headphones don't block noise, don't provide 5.1-channel sound, and don't connect to your cell phone, but other than they are pretty close to perfect. They have been on the market for a while, but they're still Sennheiser's highest-end offer-ing, taking that distinction from the time-honored HD 600 and adding a few improvements. These very comfortable cans are the best I've ever heard, bar none, and I use them extensively in both of my professional lives: as a musician and an audio reviewer.
